So much for retirement 😉

What a long winter it feels like we have had -

and in that time so much change.

Last October, I shared that I was retiring from teaching pop up style classes. This announcement was only made in an Instagram post so if you're only now hearing about that decision, it wasn't formally made with an email or blog post.

I digress.

At the time, that decision felt necessary, aligned, and I was at peace with it. Sometimes stepping away isn't dramatic. It's just obedience - or rest - or just realizing your nervous system needs a minute.

As life would have it - here we are.

Recently, an opportunity came up to teach again. My response wasn't fireworks with a relaunch plan. It was a quiet yes.

More like, "Okay, Lord... I will, if...."

Before I could even finish listing my "if's", they were handled.

Logistics aligned.

Details worked out.

The groundwork was laid without striving or scrambling.

I hadn't even specifically prayed for clarity about teaching again. I was praying about so many other things. But in His Kindness, God answered what I hadn't formally asked for yet. So much for retirement. What I'm leaning into this season is surrender over certainty. Not forcing. Just responding. I find myself coming back again and again to Jeremiah 29: 11 which says

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

-Jeremiah 29:11

I recite that verse more often than I can count. On the steady days. On the heavy days. And most certainly on the sleep deprived days of motherhood.

It reminds me that I don't have to carry a spirit of lack.

If God opens a door, it's up to us to walk through it.

I'm just showing up.

One step at a time.

Being a vessel...

by helping people breathe and move their bodies gently. Ultimately helping nervous systems remember what safety feels like.

Yes, I'll probably make a few light hearted jokes along the way. Sometimes the most spiritual thing we can do is laugh and take a deep breath.

That quiet yes has now turned into three pop-up opportunities to gather.

If you feel led to join me, here's where I'll be.

I would so love to see you and share space with you once again.

Saturday, March 14

9:30am - 12:30pm

A longer morning to breathe, move, connect, create and be surrounded by beauty and community.

Saturday, April 11

Cana Vineyards & Winery

930am - 10:30am

A soft, beginner - friendly practice to stretch, settle your nervous system, and begin the weekend grounded.

Saturday, May 16

Gentle Yoga

930am - 10:30am

 *Save the date!

Another opportunity to return to your breath, your body,

and a slower pace.

Each gathering is simple.

Intentional.

Spacious.

No striving.

No performing.

Just room to exhale.

Whether you come to class or simply receive this reminder where you are - you are allowed to rest. You are allowed to pivot. You are allowed to say "I thought I was done ... and then begin again.

With Love,

~ Rhonda Wilson ~
